HEAR FROM A PARENT AT GREENGATES SCHOOL 

"We came to Mexico City on our first overseas assignment from the UK, towards the end of the pandemic.

During our 18 months at Greengates, each teacher we’ve encountered has been welcoming, supportive, and outstanding in their field.

The pastoral care provided to our eight-year-old son has been an added bonus, which we hadn’t expected but value greatly.

Our son continues to learn as we’d hoped on the academic side and has become a more resilient, well-rounded individual in his classes with pupils from Mexico and countless other countries.

He goes into school happy every day, never once asking not to go in. He enjoys the school day, in particular PE, swimming, the drama productions, and the creative subjects like art.

He sat on the student council and was proud to be part of the team who came up with the ‘buddy bench’ initiative, which is in the process of being implemented.

Our son really enjoys the after-school activities provided by Greengates, and he has taken part in football, catch-ball, and junk modelling.

The school has been welcoming to our whole family, allowing parents to become involved in volunteering at the school as well as many other events that support pupils’ learning and enjoyment."
