Greengates School is happy to announce our 2024 schedule of Early Years Discovery & Evaluations. Parents are invited to bring their children ages 2 to 6 for an opportunity to experience why we are the leading British International school with exceptional pastoral care for young children beginning their educational journey. During your visit your child will be assessed in a welcoming, fun, and interactive environment with children their own age for admissions to the 24-25 Academic Year.

REVIEW OUR CALENDAR OPTIONS!

Greengates School cordially invites you and your child to one of our Early Years Discovery & Evaluation days in January or February, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. We have various dates to accommodate your valuable time. We highly recommend that you sign-up for the earliest available date, as places will be offered to children in the order that their evaluation and application to Greengates are received.

This programme is for families considering the advantages of a premier British international school with English native-speaking teachers and exceptional pastoral care just 20 minutes away from the prominent Polanco neighbourhood in the Mexico City metropolitan area.

Join us during one of the following weeks:

  • January 22 to 25, 2024
  • February 12 to 15, 2024
  • February 26 to 29, 2024

We will welcome children these days in groups of 10 for fun and interactive evaluations by the grade they are applying to for admissions to the 24-25 Academic Year beginning in August 2024. This interactive lesson will be an amazing opportunity for your child to learn by playing with other children their age!

 

  • Monday – Nursery (Kinder 1)
  • Tuesday – Reception (Kinder 2)
  • Wednesday – Year 1 (Kinder 3)
  • Thursday – Year 2 (1st grade / 1o de primaria)

Due to limited availability, please complete the registration form below to indicate your interest in attending. Once you have registered, we will send you detailed information including on how to prepare your young child for their visit. If you are also applying for older siblings, please let us know in the form so we can schedule their evaluation the same day. The cost of the admissions assessment per child is $2,600 MXN and can be paid through various methods at our cashier’s office on the day you attend. We’re looking forward to meeting you and your child(ren)!

Early Years Discovery & Evaluation Schedule

  • 08:45 AM–09:00 AM — Arrival and Sign In
    Please join us at Greengates School Mexico. Detailed directions and parking information will be sent upon your RSVP, as all visitor parking is available on school grounds and street parking is not available.

    Once you have parked, our friendly security staff will usher you to the main gate where the Admissions Team will greet you and show your child to the classroom and parents to our coffee break area nearby.

    Parents will be in a coffee break area during the scheduled event. The admissions team can show parents around the campus, however it is important that if a need arises parents are close to the classroom.
  • 09:00 AM–10:00 AM — Interactive evaluation for children
    Our highly experienced primary educators will be spending time with a group of 10 children where there will be:

    - Story time
    - Singing songs
    - Dancing
    - Individual interactive evaluations for their age
  • 10:10 AM–10:30 AM — Children’s Lunch time
    Please pack a lunch for your child as they will be eating lunch with their new friends during this period.
